Yeah, it’s sometimes unfair to pull out individual lines from poems as something to aspire to… because we all need to be able to write more than a great line. But this is one that I’ve just loved for a long time.
A very Zen quality to it. Lately I have been being threatened with random “Zen a Day Calendar” posts that aren’t even linear… yesterday I had October 20th sitting on my desk… there are a few with beautiful lines though. Much like this one.

Maybe they’re challenging you to remain zen-like despite the lack of order.But yeah, I do love this line.
